Administrative Detail -
Roy Westlake has lived in Devon nearly all his life, many of his photographs have been used in local publications, journals and magazines. He was elected an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society in 1967 and his photographs have been exhibited and extensively published throughout Europe, many being used on television. Much of the content deposited with the image bank has been used to compile the West Country Photographic Library of which Roy administers. Roy is now a much valued recurring visitor to the image bank.
Scope and Content -
The RW collection, deposited by Roy Westlake with the South West Image Bank in 2007 with accruals in 2008, containing over 2000 individual photographs taken during the 1940s-1990s.
