Administrative Detail -
Derek is a keen photographic/post card enthusiast and is one of our much valued volunteers. His collection has been taken over a period of many years; whilst working at the Plymouth Power Station in the 1950s and later whilst working on an English Heritage Project in 2000. His photographs were deposited with the image bank in 2008 with anticipated accruals.
Scope and Content -
Photographs taken by Derek Hiscock showing Plymouth Power Station staff during the 1950s and listed properties on the Barbican as part of an English Heritage photographic project in 2000. Also includes complementary image based and literary reference material collected by Derek.
